Update your M-VAVE FM-1 over its USB MIDI connection. The emulator and the physical instrument are separate.

2. Connect your instrument
Connect the FM-1 directly by USB and stop playback. Close other MIDI applications, including the emulator's MIDI connection.
The connection step automatically finds the FM-1 and reads its identity. It does not send firmware data.

3. Install and verify
Keep USB and power connected until the instrument has restarted and verification is complete. MC-1's saved project banks are not reformatted; an update is not a backup.
Verify a release and connect an instrument to continue.
